Melody Park Christian School is a ministry of First Baptist Church of Salinas. We are located at the corner of San Vincente Avenue and Blanco Road in south Salinas. Our school was established in 1980, and has been providing high quality early childhood education and childcare for over twenty years.

We have eight classrooms, a state of the art playground, and the use of a gym on rainy days. Each classroom is prepared for a small class of twelve children. As the school year progresses these children become a small community of learners. All rooms contain the interest areas for children's hands on learning. The staff prepares the room and curriculum to include activities in art, music, science, cooking, early mathematics, and literacy and pre-reading skills.
