Research and practice have proven that parent involvement provides benefits to the child, the parent, and the teacher. Each parent has something to offer and children are very happy when their parents take part in activities at the school.

  • Fall Back-to-School nights are held
  • Parent Evenings are scheduled throughout the year to strengthen skills and offer support to parents.
  • Each teacher offers "Building Blocks" as specific ways you may help with your child's class. See the bulletin board in the class for ways she needs your participation.

Parents are always welcome to visit our school, as an observer, to participate as a volunteer, to share a special talent or interest, or just to play with your child and share in his/her learning experiences. You are invited as our very special guests at events throughout our school year:

  • Harvest Festival
  • Activity Days
  • Streets of Bethlehem
  • April Young Children's Parade
  • Your child's birthday
  • Community events as a MPCS family representative

Communication is valuable and of vital importance as we are partners with parents in the education of these young children. We share information and announcements regarding our school community in a monthly newsletter. We also post a wide variety of subject materials on children and youth on our bulletin boards for your information.

We strive to keep open communication between us, so we can best serve you, your child and your family.

At the school year's end we disperse our Parent Comment/Evaluation Notice and appreciate your suggestions and feedback to make our program to better meet the needs of families.
